The Rural Technology Park & Incubation Centre (RTPIC), established under the aegis of Rabindranath Thakur Vishwavidyalaya, Hojai, Assam, is envisioned as a dynamic platform for fostering innovation, skill development, and sustainable rural entrepreneurship.
Recognizing the vast potential of rural resources and human capital, the Centre is committed to bridging the gap between traditional knowledge and modern scientific technologies. It aims to empower students, farmers, self-help groups, and rural youth through hands-on training, research, and incubation support, thereby enabling them to become self-reliant (Atmanirbhar) contributors to the economy.
The Centre focuses on promoting appropriate technologies in information technology, agriculture, biotechnology, environmental management, and rural industries, ensuring their practical application for livelihood generation. By integrating education, research, and extension activities, RTPIC strives to create a supportive ecosystem for innovation-driven rural development.
Through its programs and initiatives, the Rural Technology Park & Incubation Centre seeks to nurture entrepreneurial skills, enhance employability, and encourage start-up culture, ultimately contributing to sustainable development and inclusive growth in the region.
